I appreciate this substack, but am sad that many of the links are paywalled. I know that’s not your fault, but it makes it hard to justify upgrading the subscription when it’s mostly a collection of things I can’t read.
Thanks for the feedback. It raises a good point. Should we include less interesting stories because they are open versus the most interesting things we find? We find that the best editorial is being paywalled.
We are also creating original content here which is part of why we are charging a subscription fee.
I appreciate your response, and definitely enjoy the original content. And I also know there is a mix of non-paywalled articles. I’m not sure what the right mix is. Maybe just a small disclaimer warning the article is paywalled to save the click and frustration. I’m not here to tell you guys what to do, just sharing my experience. Thanks again!
